Support

Support independent, method driven research on advanced AI societal risk and the conditions for human continuity if prevention fails.

Status: Prio1 Foundation is a planned independent foundation. Until formal registration, activities are operated by Prio1 LtdΒ to publish materials and collect early funding for establishing the foundation.

Supporting Membership

USD 99 per year

Supporting Membership is live now. It funds the work immediately and helps Prio1 scale research and publishing capacity faster.

Supporting Membership is mission support, not a premium content subscription.

What the membership includes

Prefer a one-time contribution?

If you want to support the work without membership or recurring payments, you can make a one-time contribution

Why support matters

This work is constrained mainly by time and capacity. More funding creates more research time, better publication output, and better transparency infrastructure.

We also treat timing as a practical issue. The window for effective slowing and early interventions may be shorter than many institutions assume. Funding earlier increases the probability that useful work is produced while that window still exists.

This is not a certainty claim. It is a practical response to uncertainty under time pressure.

What Supporting Membership funds

Your support is reserved for two purposes only:

  1. Funding independent research and publication work

  2. Establishing Prio1 Foundation as an independent foundation

We focus spending on:

  • research time and structured analysis

  • publication work and editorial capacity

  • methods and transparency workflows

  • community infrastructure and moderation standards

  • foundation setup work required for a transition from the current structure

Access timeline

Supporting Membership is active immediately after payment.

The private members area is under construction and opens when ready in March 2026. When it launches, your access activates automatically.

What members receive

Available now

  • Supporting member status immediately after payment

  • Member updates as work progresses

  • Priority notice when the Members Area launches

  • One member question per membership year, answered under a strict protocol (details below)

Available when the Members Area opens in March 2026

  • Members forum and structured discussion threads

  • Members library with working materials and background notes, to the extent they can be shared responsibly

  • Member update archive and research progress logs

  • A more organized workflow for member questions and optional publication of anonymized Q and A when permitted

One question protocol

Each supporting member can submit one question per membership year.

The protocol is intentionally strict:

  • The expert commits one hour total to produce the answer, using advanced AI tools as appropriate

  • Questions must relate to advanced AI societal risk, dependency and lock in, removability, agentic dynamics, coexistence conditions, or resilience

  • You choose whether the answer is private or publishable (anonymized)

  • If you permit publication, the goal is to build a public library of clearly scoped questions and method based responses

Openness and transparency

Prio1 intends to publish core research outputs openly.

Supporting members also receive access to additional working materials and background notes that inform the published work, to the extent they can be shared responsibly. Some materials may be limited when privacy, safety, or confidentiality constraints apply.

Funding commitment and structure

Prio1 Foundation is a planned independent foundation. Until formal registration, operations and payments are handled by Prio1 Ltd (Prio1 Oy, Finland).

All funds are reserved solely for establishing Prio1 Foundation and funding its research.

Prio1 Foundation will be established no later than when total funding reaches USD 100,000.
